A Frolicking Good Time in Northern New Mexico

This is our occasion for a little play and rest as we prepare for the coming winter; I offer a program that allows for plenty of freedom to flow at your own pace.

We plan our weekend primarily around Som∂lchemy Movement classes with a few twists. This elixir of a retreat always turns out great conversations and yummy food! I will offer optional workshops of Moving Diealogue and Full Voice: The Art and Practice of Vocal Presence during the program.

This retreat is for you if you'd like to take time connecting to more natural rhythms, integrating with the sensory world around you and exploring your expressive and creative self.

The event is held at Vista Verde Retreat Center in Carson, NM.

About Vista Verde

Vista Verde Retreat sits on 40 acres of land on the west edge of the Taos Gorge surrounded by juniper and piñon trees. There is a beautiful sprung wood dance floor for our movement classes and lots of space to be outdoors. With two hiking trails looping through the natural surroundings, a ceremonial sand circle, an outdoor fire pit, labyrinth and wood-fired hot tub you'll want to disconnect and plug into natural time. Nearby, there are a variety of unique day trips and activities. From touring Taos art galleries, visiting the Taos Pueblo, to viewing the Rio Grande Gorge or the Earthship Biotecture there's plenty to do if that's your desire. And, just a short 25 minute drive takes you to the famous Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs (reserve ahead of time for spa treatments) where you can soak in healing mineral waters. Hiking and walking trails abound in this area of New Mexico.
