2020 Natural Time Virtual Mini Retreat

The 4th Annual Natural Time Nia Weekend Retreat will be held in a virtual on-line format this year. This mini-retreat in lieu of our in-person gathering will still give us the opportunity for some more exploration of the topic of Natural Time. While in nature we observe natural time by following it’s cycles: the moon, sun, plants and animals, personally, we can begin to observe and know our own body’s rhythms by bringing our awareness to our sensation and perceptions.

The mini-retreat cost is $35+tax and includes three 45-minute meet-ups on Zoom (meetings will be recorded if you cannot join).

Workshop meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings at sunset beginning October 13th; specific times, shifting by 10 minutes each week, are listed below. Registration required.

  1. Tues. October 13, 6:30pm Showing up for Yourself

  2. Tues. October 20, 6:20pm Creating Space for Response-Ability

  3. Tues. October 27, 6:10pm Riding the Flow of Natural Time

A password protected workshop landing page link will be sent upon registration.

Retreating into Natural Time

In Nia the concept of natural time is meant to give us the opportunity to be in the present moment and to discover our own way of being in the world. Based on natural cycles and rhythms, not dictated by the mechanical clock, Natural Time is a powerful principle that teaches us to move at our own pace, to our own depths and in response to our individual impulses. We stay connected to natural time by remaining connected to sensation; and, that is precisely what this mini-retreat invites you to do.
